Chungnam, Major Urban Living Area Hiking Trails '312 km' Maintenance
[Asia Economy (Hongseong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Chungnam Province is set to renovate major hiking trails within urban living areas.
The province announced on the 15th that it will invest a total of 7.1 billion KRW by November to maintain 312 km of hiking trails in response to the increasing demand for forest recreational spaces.

The maintenance aims to enhance recreational functions and strengthen safety by repairing damaged and disconnected sections of hiking trails within urban living areas.
In addition to urban living area trails, the province will also carry out repair work on popular locations such as the 100 famous mountains of Chungnam and the Naepo Cultural Forest Trail.
Furthermore, forest trail guides will be deployed on-site to serve as navigators for major hiking routes, ensuring safer and more comfortable hiking experiences.
