Concerning reports that President Yoon said during a luncheon with the People Power Party leadership on the 10th that "none of the proposed names are satisfactory," the official explained, "Since the name is very important, it seems he was expressing the intention to consider various options to find a better one."
The official added, "Over the past month, the area around Yongsan has been thoroughly organized, and repairs inside the building have been completed, so things are gradually stabilizing. It is a situation where the name must be decisively chosen as everything is settling down."

'Itaewon-ro 22' is derived from the street address of the office. By using the address that every citizen shares as the name of the office, it symbolizes genuine communication with the people as President Yoon is also one of the citizens. The name appears to be inspired by the British Prime Minister's office at '10 Downing Street.' It is reported that 'Itaewon-ro 22' was particularly favored by the younger generation.
