‘Future Logistics Technology’ Unveiled... International Logistics Industry Expo Held for 4 Days from the 14th
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Tae-min] The Korea Integrated Logistics Association announced on the 14th that it will hold the "International Logistics Industry Exhibition," where visitors can get an overview of future logistics technology trends such as delivery robots and parcel drones, for four days starting from the 14th of this month at KINTEX in Ilsan.
Now in its 12th year, the International Logistics Industry Exhibition is the largest logistics exhibition in Korea, covering transportation, services, storage, and logistics facilities. It is hosted by the Korea Integrated Logistics Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
This year, 134 companies including logistics equipment developers and logistics service providers will open a total of 650 exhibition booths to promote advanced logistics equipment, systems, and services. Visitors can explore future logistics technologies on-site, such as logistics robots and drones, cold chain systems, and eco-friendly hydrogen cargo vehicles, and predict the prospects of the logistics industry.
A separate Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport R&D promotional hall and startup pavilion will be set up. Here, visitors can learn about national R&D research contents for future logistics technology development, including autonomous delivery robots, urban joint logistics technology development, and logistics information integrated management platform construction, as well as meet logistics startup companies.
In addition, various side events such as endemic COVID-19 seminars with startup companies and the Korean Society of Logistics Science and Technology academic conference will be held. Regarding the smart logistics center certification system, explanatory sessions and ongoing consultations for exhibition visitors will be conducted for two days starting from the 14th.

Baek Seung-geun, Chairman of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, stated, "Now is the golden time to innovate the logistics industry and leap forward as a logistics powerhouse," adding, "The government will actively support the innovation of the logistics industry, including the advancement of logistics infrastructure, strengthening logistics R&D, and fostering logistics startups."
