GS Shop Opens 'GS Pay Quick Payment'... "Complete Orders with One-Click Payment"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] GS Shop announced on the 13th that it has launched the ‘GS Pay Quick Payment’ service, which anyone can easily use by simply registering a credit card or payment account.
This service allows customers to complete an order immediately with a single click on the product page without going through the order page when ordering products via the GS Shop mobile app. According to internal tests, the GS Pay Quick Payment feature reduced the time from order to payment completion to around 10 seconds. Compared to the previous process, which took about 30 seconds through the order page, the order speed has been cut to one-third.
Currently, 67% of GS Pay users are VVIPs, the highest customer tier at GS Shop. GS Shop expects to secure more loyal customers through GS Pay Quick Payment. An event is also being held until the 19th, offering 1,000 won in reward points to all users.
A GS Shop official said, “We introduced GS Pay Quick Payment to connect the GS Pay experience, which allows payment with a single touch offline, to the online environment as well,” adding, “Online customers are very sensitive to speed, so the reduced payment time will provide customers with a completely different experience.”
