Incheon Mayor Transition Committee Launched… Yoo Jeong-bok "Will Continue to Nurture a Greater Dream for Incheon"
Yoo Jeong-bok, the elected mayor of Incheon, completed the unveiling ceremony of the plaque for the 8th term Incheon Mayor Transition Committee on the 9th and is taking a commemorative photo with the transition committee members.

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Yoo Jeong-bok, the elected mayor of Incheon, emphasized on the 9th, "I will nurture the dream of a greater Incheon to become the center of South Korea."
At the inauguration ceremony of the Incheon mayoral transition committee held at G Tower in Songdo International City on the same day, Yoo stated, "The expectations and hopes of the citizens for the 8th popularly elected term are great, and naturally, they must be fulfilled."
He also said, "Eight years ago, I was said to be someone who worked hard without selfish motives but was not very good at politics," adding, "However, now I will dream in politics as well, contributing to the happiness of citizens and the political development of Incheon and South Korea."
Yoo urged the transition committee members and special advisors, "You must all reflect on the meaning of the appointment and commission letters," and added, "What the mayor-elect has bestowed should be considered as given by the 3 million citizens, and you must keep that solemn command and faithfully fulfill your duties."
He continued, "You share the same values and philosophy with me," emphasizing, "We must achieve results so that the 8th popularly elected term will be remembered in history."
The Incheon mayoral transition committee appointed a total of 20 members, including former National Assembly member Jeong Yoo-seop as chairman, lawyer Ryu Kwon-hong, former general headquarters director of the election campaign committee, as vice chairman, former National Assembly member Min Hyun-joo as spokesperson, and former Incheon mayor secretary Park Byung-il as the mayor-elect’s chief secretary, along with Kim Seok-won, former Blue House public communication secretary, Kim Jin-yong, former head of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, and Jo Yong-gyun, former chief judge of the Incheon District Court.
The transition committee is organized into four divisions: Regional Balanced Development, Future Creation, Citizen Happiness, and Administrative Innovation, with 20 transition committee members divided among them.
Additionally, five special advisors will be appointed in the fields of political affairs, security, public relations, youth, and external cooperation, along with five task forces (Jemulpo Renaissance, New Hong Kong City, Transportation Infrastructure, Empathy Welfare, Environment).
