Sancheong Cultural Center Selected for 'Culture Day' Contest Two Years in a Row
The Only One in Gyeongnam This Year... 'Our Neighborhood History and Culture Tour'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sancheong Cultural Center in Gyeongnam has been selected for the second consecutive year in the "Culture Day with Local Cultural Centers" contest hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korean Cultural Center Association.
In particular, Sancheong Cultural Center was the only one in Gyeongnam Province to be selected for this contest this year, proving the excellence of its program operation.
According to the Cultural Center, this contest project under the theme "Our Neighborhood History Trip with Sancheong Cultural Center" will be held on the last Wednesday of each month from June to November.
The programs for each session are ▲ June History Trip I: Exploration and experiential activities of Sancheong's traditional temple culture ▲ August Gugak Trip: Experience of Gugak and traditional games centered on Gisan Gugakdang ▲ September History Trip II: Exploration and experiential activities of Sancheong's Seowon ▲ October Cotton Trip: Visiting the tomb of Mun Ik-jeom, VR viewing of traditional cotton cloth weaving, and experiential activities using cotton wool.
Each monthly program will be held at different thematic locations and operated in the form of exploration, education, performance, and experiential programs utilizing historical, cultural, and artistic content.
