Gwangju Seo-gu Successfully Completes Healing Program for Civil Complaint Officers
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 8th that the healing program conducted over two days starting from the 7th for civil service officers in charge of civil complaints was completed with great response.
About 70 civil service officers responsible for civil complaint tasks at the district office and administrative welfare centers participated in this healing program held at the Jangseong Forest Healing Center in Jeollanam-do.
This program was prepared to help civil service officers in charge of civil complaints, who suffer from emotional labor due to the increase in special complaints such as verbal abuse and assault from complainants, to heal their body and mind, relieve work stress, cultivate a friendly mindset, and provide high-quality civil complaint services to the public.
The main contents included forest walking, tea therapy, and forest meditation. It is expected to improve the quality of civil complaint services by enhancing the self-esteem and morale of civil service officers through various healing experiences away from daily life.
Additionally, participants attended a European art travel lecture by art historian Lee Chang-yong titled "The Man Who Reads Paintings" and a professional lecture on "Wine and Health" by sommelier Lee Jae-sul, taking a break from their busy complaint handling tasks and fostering harmony through activities with colleagues.
A Seo-gu official said, "We hope this healing program provided an opportunity for civil complaint staff to gain vitality and recharge," and added, "We plan to continuously conduct such programs to provide more proactive and friendly civil complaint services to citizens."
