[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Lee Junhyung] KEPCO KDN announced on the 8th that it will hold the '2022 National Innovation Idea Contest.'
This contest was prepared as part of implementing public institution innovation policies. The contest fields include four major agendas of KEPCO KDN's mid- to long-term management strategy: digital transformation in the power sector, carbon neutrality, and proactive administration. The application period is until the 8th of next month.
KEPCO KDN plans to refine the ideas that pass the first screening through a hackathon competition in which employees directly participate. KEPCO KDN will select six ideas as the final winners by the end of September. The final selected ideas will be comprehensively reviewed and reflected in KEPCO KDN's management innovation and new business promotion.
Meanwhile, KEPCO KDN recently won the '2022 National Industry Award in the Management Innovation category.' This was the result of continuously carrying out public participation-type management innovation activities, such as operating the National Proposal Innovation Desk.
