Gyeongsang National University, Joint Campus Gender Violence Prevention Campaign
Jinju Sexual Violence Victim Counseling Center, Gyeongnam Youth Sexual Culture Center, and Jinju Police Station Participation
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Gyeongsang National University Human Rights Center, Jinju Sexual Violence Victim Counseling Center, Gyeongsangnam-do Youth Sexual Culture Center, and Jinju Police Station conducted a 'Joint Campaign to Prevent Gender Violence on Campus' on the 7th at Gajwa Campus of Gyeongsang National University to create a safe university culture free from violence.
This joint campaign was organized to examine the reality of everyday violence based on gender, including sexual violence, sexual harassment, dating violence, stalking crimes, and prostitution, and to provide an opportunity to reflect on the seriousness of gender violence on campus.
Additionally, the campaign distributed promotional cards that detect 'hidden cameras,' enabling anyone to detect illegal camera installations inside university buildings such as restrooms, thereby instilling trust in students and university members for a safe campus.
