Upon discovering flames rising from the yard where waste tires were piled up, a witness reported the fire, prompting the dispatch of 31 firefighting vehicles and 78 firefighters.
According to the fire authorities, there have been no casualties so far, but toxic gases and black smoke from the burning waste tires are spreading in the surrounding area.

A fire official stated, “The fire is still in the initial stage, and since there are many waste tires piled up in the yard, it will take some time to extinguish.” He added, “Once the fire is extinguished, we plan to investigate the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.”
