More than 30 Companies with Excellent Technologies in Semiconductors and Auto Parts Participate
Yeungnam University held the "Youth Science and Technology Job Fair 2024" on the 3rd.

Co-hosted by Yeungnam University, the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Korea Industrial Technology Association, and KB Kookmin Bank, this fair was organized to connect Daegu and Gyeongbuk companies struggling to secure talent with young science and engineering graduates, thereby creating local jobs and revitalizing region-specific industries.
About 30 companies possessing excellent technologies related to specialized industries such as semiconductors and automotive parts participated in the fair held that day.
Participating companies included large corporations such as POSCO, Sambo Motors, Hwashin, and Daegu Tech, as well as regional mid-sized companies. HR representatives attended in person to convey their ideal candidates and recruitment information, providing young science and technology professionals with vivid employment information.
In addition, tailored services for young science and engineering job seekers were provided, including on-site recruitment briefings, mock interviews, self-introduction letter analysis, job competency assessments, and aptitude tests.
Jung Jin-young, Director of the Yeungnam University Career Center, said, “Yeungnam University will hold large-scale job fairs not only with major corporations but also with regional mid-sized companies, public enterprises, and public institutions to provide diverse employment opportunities for students seeking jobs by offering various corporate information.”

The 2022 Youth Science and Technology Job Fair is scheduled to be held seven times in total, starting from the 3rd at Yeungnam University (Daegu·Gyeongbuk area), and then touring major regions such as Gangwon, Jeolla, and Chungcheong.
