Sent to Prosecution on Murder Charges
[Asia Economy Reporter Na Ye-eun] A man in his 20s who brutally murdered his ex-girlfriend by stabbing her multiple times with a weapon was found to have searched for "how to take revenge on an ex-girlfriend" before the crime.
According to Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station on the 3rd, Mr. A (23), who brutally killed his ex-girlfriend, was sent to the prosecution under arrest on charges of murder.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend Ms. B (21) multiple times with a weapon at a villa in Namdong-gu, Incheon, around 6 p.m. on the 23rd of last month.
It was investigated that Mr. A followed Ms. B, who was returning home, carrying a weapon he had prepared in advance through online delivery two days before the crime, and entered the house to commit the crime. Ms. B usually lived with her family, but it is known that all other family members were out at the time.
He attempted suicide immediately after the crime but sustained minor injuries to his wrist and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Mr. A's phone search history was found to include content such as "how to take revenge on an ex-girlfriend."
The police responded to a report from a neighbor who heard a woman's screams pleading for help and found Ms. B stabbed with a weapon.
During the police investigation, Mr. A reportedly stated that "we had an argument over past issues" and "I was intoxicated."
