LTE Customers Use an Average of 8GB... KT M Mobile Launches 3 New Plans
Three Types of Moduda Mamkkeot Anshim Plans
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT M Mobile, the No.1 domestic MVNO company, announced on the 3rd that it has launched three ‘Moduda Mamkkeot Anshim’ plans tailored to the LTE consumption trend with increased data usage.
The Moduda Mamkkeot Anshim plans include ▲Moduda Mamkkeot Anshim 6GB+ (15,900 KRW/month) ▲Moduda Mamkkeot Anshim 8GB+ (17,900 KRW/month) ▲Moduda Mamkkeot Anshim 10GB+ (19,900 KRW/month), offering unlimited calls and texts, and after the monthly data allowance is used up, data can be used at speeds up to 400Kbps. The monthly data allowance has been increased compared to previous plans.
KT M Mobile explained that the Moduda Mamkkeot Anshim plans were launched based on an analysis of LTE customers’ average data usage, which is about 8GB per person per month. The increase in data usage is attributed to the spread of smartphones and the use of online video services (OTT).
According to KT M Mobile, the 400Kbps speed allows basic internet services such as messenger use and web surfing. It is suitable for customers who want to reduce communication costs by using content over Wi-Fi, and it is highly preferred by customers in their 30s and 40s.
KT M Mobile is running various events such as gift certificates and Linkid coupon packs for plan activations of 5,000 KRW or more at the KT M Mobile Direct Mall. Additionally, a summer early vacation promotion is underway.
