The group, consisting of eight representatives from local Philippine travel agencies such as Laxxo Air Travel and Click Solution, as well as a reporter from the Philippine media outlet Philippine Star, toured Shilla Duty Free Seoul branch for about an hour and enjoyed shopping mainly for Korean cosmetic brands.
The Philippine travel agency delegation entered through Incheon Airport on the 30th of last month and experienced major Korean attractions such as Gapyeong's Garden of Morning Calm, Gangneung's Chodang Sundubu Village, Seoul's Namsan Tower, and Insadong during their 4 nights and 5 days stay. They are scheduled to depart on the afternoon of the 3rd.
With COVID-19 social distancing measures significantly eased worldwide, group tourist arrivals, especially from Southeast Asian countries, are expected to become active starting in July. Accordingly, Shilla Duty Free is actively rebuilding networks not only with local sending travel agencies but also with domestic inbound travel agencies.
