CJ Logistics Operates Global Integrated Forwarding System 'CubeBridge'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] CJ Logistics is targeting the global market through the advancement of its cutting-edge digital forwarding system.
CJ Logistics announced on the 2nd that it has officially launched the global integrated forwarding system ‘Q-Bridge 2.0,’ which enhances user convenience by reflecting the characteristics of each country.
Q-Bridge is a digital forwarding system capable of handling all processes related to export and import logistics. It began on-site implementation last year. For the first time, it unified the individual forwarding systems of overseas subsidiaries and affiliates worldwide into a single system.
Through this upgrade, CJ Logistics expanded the application of Q-Bridge to nine countries responsible for forwarding operations, including the United States, China, Japan, and Vietnam. Various functions reflecting the business characteristics of each country were added, and operational capabilities are being enhanced through the establishment of global standard processes.
In particular, CJ Logistics increased visibility and maximized user convenience by adding data analysis and portal functions. Based on data accumulated in Q-Bridge, such as customer-specific cargo volume and monthly performance, it is now possible to create customized integrated reports that meet user needs. A customized portal function was also added, allowing customers, sales staff, and operations managers to view necessary data and trends at a glance.
To establish a paperless work environment, the electronic document interchange (EDI) service was advanced. Shipping documents and settlement tasks, which were previously handled manually, can now be easily processed in electronic document format. This minimizes human errors occurring during the input of forwarding-related information and facilitates smooth information exchange between countries through process standardization.
Additionally, the expansion of robotic process automation reduced simple repetitive tasks. Various upgrades were made, including adding functions that allow customs clearance tasks arising during export and import logistics to be processed collectively within Q-Bridge.
