The Gyeongbuk-type Happy Senior Center Pilot Project is a program to develop a new welfare model for senior centers tailored to regional characteristics to eliminate blind spots in elderly welfare and enable seniors to enjoy a happy old age.
The county plans to invest a total budget of 100 million KRW to revitalize senior centers by providing a service that cooks and delivers side dishes twice a month to each senior center.

A Seongju-gun official said, "We plan to successfully complete the Happy Senior Center Pilot Project this year and, in the second year, select hub spaces to provide convenience facilities such as small cafes and book rental spaces, creating a complex leisure and cultural life center for local seniors."
