View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] A large fire broke out around 9:25 a.m. on the 31st in a mountain near Chunhwa-ri, Bubuk-myeon, Miryang-si, Gyeongnam.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, firefighting personnel and equipment from Gyeongnam as well as Busan, Daegu, Ulsan, and Gyeongbuk have been mobilized, but the fire is not easily extinguished.
The fire authorities announced that after issuing Fire Response Level 1 around 10 a.m., they escalated to Level 2 at 11:28 a.m., and then issued National Fire Mobilization Order No. 1 at 10:40 a.m.
Fire Mobilization Order No. 1 means mobilizing 5% of the firefighting forces from other cities and provinces on duty.
So far, no casualties have been reported, but since the distance between the fire site and residential houses is confirmed to be only 180 meters, 476 people from 100 households, including those in Muyeon Village, have evacuated.

A total of 525 firefighting personnel and 128 firefighting vehicles and equipment have been mobilized, including 30 helicopters such as firefighting helicopters, forestry helicopters, and military helicopters.
