Pukyong National University was selected in the Type 1 category, which evaluates plans for internal enhancement and advancement based on basic capabilities in admission process management, according to the Ministry of Education's announcement on the results of the "2022-2024 University Support Project for High School Education Contribution" on the 30th.
The University Support Project for High School Education Contribution is a project designed to encourage universities to operate college admissions processes fairly and transparently, reflect high school curricula in admissions evaluations, reduce students' entrance exam burdens, and enhance the quality of high school education.
This year, the university received favorable evaluations in newly added evaluation areas such as "High School Education Connectivity," fairness and accountability in admissions, reduction of examinee burden, strengthening of student selection functions and expertise, and budget planning.
Following the project selection, Pukyong National University plans to receive approximately 700 million KRW in project funds this year to implement programs such as ▲ admission process operation and capacity-building programs ▲ support programs for enhancing school education quality ▲ student educational activity support programs ▲ individual research related to admission process improvement and joint research among universities.
