Fire at Metal Processing Factory in Haman... One Cambodian Dead
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] At around 4:41 PM on the 30th, a fire broke out at a metal processing product manufacturing factory in Chilwon-eup, Haman-gun, Gyeongnam.
The fire resulted in the death of A (25), a Cambodian national, who was burned.
Additionally, B (61), a Korean national, sustained second-degree burns on the face and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The fire burned part of one factory building, covering 50㎡, causing property damage estimated at around 5 million won by the fire department, and was extinguished in about an hour.
