Fire at Metal Processing Factory in Haman, Gyeongnam, 2 Casualties Including Cambodian Worker
A fire broke out on the 30th at a factory in Haman-gun, Gyeongnam, resulting in 2 casualties.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] A fire broke out at a metal processing product manufacturing factory in Chilwon-eup, Haman-gun, Gyeongnam, at 4:41 p.m. on the 30th, resulting in one death and one serious injury.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, after receiving a report from an employee about the fire at the factory, 59 firefighters and 20 fire trucks were dispatched.
The fire was completely extinguished around 5:39 p.m. that day, but one factory building was burned, causing property damage estimated at 5 million won.
One 25-year-old Cambodian man died in the fire, and a 61-year-old man surnamed Noh suffered second-degree burns on his face and was transported to the hospital.
