10 Years of Scholarship Donations to Unam Cultural Scholarship Foundation Since 2013

Dasan Bea Chae Golf & Resort in Gangjin, which is mentioned as a successful model for investment attraction in Jeollanam-do, decided to donate 60 million KRW in development funds to Mokpo Jungang High School under the Geunhwa Foundation school corporation for nurturing local talent, and held the ceremony at 11 a.m. that day.

Dasan Bea Chae Golf & Resort is a prestigious club established in 2018 by the late Chairman Kim Ho-nam of Unam. It consists of a 27-hole public golf course and a resort with a total of 52 rooms on a 450,000-pyeong site. Fourteen seaside holes facing Gangjin Bay are adjacent, and it features rooms with views of Gaudo Island and the suspension bridge, making it a popular golf course.

Additionally, Dasan Bea Chae Country Club and its parent company Geunhwa Construction Co., Ltd. have been supporting the "Dream Blossoms Scholarship" for 10 years annually through the Unam Cultural Scholarship Foundation established by the late Chairman Kim Ho-nam in 2013. Mokpo Jungang High School has been reborn as a prestigious specialized high school in the region through the concerted efforts of all faculty members since the late Chairman Kim Ho-nam took office as chairman in 2008.

This development fund was donated with 20 million KRW from Dasan Bea Chae Golf & Resort, and 40 million KRW from Lee Ae-ja, chairman of the Geunhwa Foundation school corporation and widow of the late Chairman Kim Ho-nam, Kim Yu-rim, general manager who inherited the business, and Jang Bo-seong, CEO of Geunhwa Construction, who united their intentions.

Meanwhile, the late Chairman Kim Ho-nam, founder of Dasan Bea Chae Country Club Co., Ltd., who served as chairman of the Mokpo Chamber of Commerce and Industry and vice chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was known for his exceptional passion for nurturing future generations and talent development during his lifetime, as well as leading efforts to give back corporate profits to society.
