Uljin County, Public-Private Joint Campaign for Inspection and Improvement of Harmful Environments for Youth in Youth Month.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, conducted a campaign to inspect and improve harmful environments for youth around schools and areas dense with harmful businesses from May 18 to 25 in celebration of Youth Month in May.
This activity was carried out through a public-private joint effort involving the Uljin Police Station, Youth Counseling Welfare Center, and Out-of-School Youth Support Center to protect youth from harmful environments.
The joint inspection team visited convenience stores, general restaurants, and PC rooms frequently visited by youth in Uljin-eup and Jukbyeon-myeon, distributing 'Youth Harmful Environment OUT' leaflets and checking for the presence of stickers prohibiting the sale of alcohol and tobacco to those under 19 years old.
