Strong Winds Expected in Gwangju and Jeonnam: Caution Advised for Facilities and Safety Accidents

According to the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration on the 27th, the daytime high temperature is forecasted to reach 30 degrees in Suncheon and Gwangyang, and 29 degrees in Gurye.
Temperatures are expected to be 28 degrees in Damyang, Hwasun, Gokseong, Jangheung, and Boseong, and 27 degrees in Gwangju, Jangseong, Gangjin, Yeosu, and Goheung.
On the 27th, the daytime high temperatures in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions will range between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius.
Strong winds with gusts around 55 km/h are expected in most areas on this day, so special attention should be paid to facility inspections and safety accidents.
Additionally, fine dust and ultrafine dust levels are expected to be at good levels in most parts of Gwangju and Jeonnam.
Meanwhile, on the weekend of the 28th, the morning low temperatures are expected to be between 11 and 18 degrees, and the daytime highs between 26 and 32 degrees Celsius. Especially, the daytime temperature is expected to rise above 30 degrees, resulting in hot weather, mainly in Gwangju and the eastern parts of Jeonnam.
Clear weather is expected to continue until the 28th, while on the morning of the 29th, the low temperatures will be between 13 and 18 degrees, and the daytime highs between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius. The sky will gradually become cloudy from the morning, and rain is expected from 3 p.m., according to the Meteorological Administration.
