Gyeonggi-do Hosts 'Venture Investment Roadshow'... Expanding Achievements of 'Securities-type Crowdfunding'
Online Event on the 26th... 7 Successful Equity Crowdfunding Companies Participate
Corporate Investment Presentation (IR) & 1-on-1 Investment Consultation... Providing Opportunities for Follow-up Funding
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province, in collaboration with the Korea Venture Capital Association, will hold a 'Venture Investment Roadshow' online and non-face-to-face on the 26th for companies that have succeeded in securities-type crowdfunding.
The 'Venture Investment Roadshow' is an event prepared to expand the achievements of companies participating in the securities-type crowdfunding sector, part of the 'Crowdfunding-linked Startup Support Project' introduced and promoted by Gyeonggi Province since last year.
At the roadshow, seven companies that succeeded in securities-type crowdfunding will participate, providing follow-up investment opportunities such as investment attraction presentations (IR pitching) targeting professional investment institutions and one-on-one investment consultations.
Participating companies include seven businesses: camping caravans, flat-type heating fibers, a minimum product recommendation service using childcare product experience reviews, an online pharmacy platform, an integrated intellectual property platform, tunnel steel support materials, and a mobile mattress washing and drying service.
In particular, since about 10 professional investment institutions (VCs) are expected to participate, the province anticipates this will be an opportunity to realistically gauge the investment potential of the participating companies.
Meanwhile, the province supports the 'Crowdfunding-linked Startup Support Project,' which aids early-stage startups in securing private investment funds smoothly and verifying marketability through crowdfunding methods, divided into 'securities-type (investment type)' and 'sponsorship-type (reward type)'.
