A Man in His 50s Caught After Snatching a Woman's Handbag on a Main Road

The Gwangju Western Police Station announced on the 25th that they have arrested and are investigating a man in his mid-50s, Mr. A, on charges of robbery and assault.
Mr. A is accused of knocking down and assaulting a woman in her 50s near the Seogu Bus Terminal around 5:40 a.m. that day, then fleeing with her handbag containing valuables.
The victim immediately sought help from a security guard, and the police, who responded to the report, apprehended Mr. A loitering around the terminal.
It is reported that Mr. A stated to the police that he committed the crime without any particular reason.
