According to the Presidential Office on that day, the American wine selected for the dinner is the red wine "VASO" 2017 vintage produced by the Korean-owned winery "Dana Estate" in Napa Valley, California, USA. "VASO" was also chosen as the dinner wine for the 2010 Seoul G20 (Group of Twenty) Summit. The spokesperson's office explained that this choice symbolizes "wishing for the successful hosting of the official dinner."
