According to Chosun University on the 20th, it was confirmed that five third-year students in the College of Medicine committed cheating during the midterm exams held earlier this month.
When a report of cheating was received during the online written exam for the clinical practice course, the university held a meeting involving professors and students to verify the facts. Additionally, on the 19th, a general meeting was held with all third-year students to hear their opinions.
The students who cheated received a score of zero on the written exam. According to Chosun University's academic regulations, if a student commits cheating, the subject is graded as an F. The College of Medicine requires students who receive an F in any subject to repeat the academic year.
