Designation of the Third Week of Every Month as 'Patrol Week'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced on the 20th that it conducted patrols with residents to prevent crime.
A total of 154 people, including 43 police officers and 67 members of the autonomous crime prevention squad, participated in a two-hour foot patrol from 8 PM to 10 PM the previous day. Lee Jongwon, chief of the Songpa Police Station, stated, "On the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the implementation of the autonomous police system, we must prioritize residents and become a police force that works together with the community."
