Samsung Display Holds Wage Agreement Ceremony for '9% Salary Increase'

Samsung Display announced that on the 18th at 3 PM, at Asan 1 Campus, the 2022 wage agreement signing ceremony was held with both parties' negotiation committee members attending, including Yoon Sung-hee, Head of HR (Vice President), and Kwon Sang-wook, Chairman of the Labor Union.
At the event, Yoon Sung-hee, Head of HR, stated, “Based on our past experiences, let us build a culture of mutual respect and consideration between labor and management, and create a future-oriented labor-management relationship that fulfills our social responsibilities as a global corporate citizen.” He added, “In a situation where global competition is becoming more intense, if labor and management cooperate and coexist, our company will be able to continuously grow and develop.”

Samsung Display had announced to its employees on the 12th the results of the 2022 wage and welfare adjustments, stating that the average annual salary would increase by 9% compared to last year, and to ensure sufficient rest for employees, three days of paid leave would be newly introduced. Additionally, spouse maternity leave would be extended from the existing 10 days to 15 days, and facilities such as resorts for employees would be expanded.
