This steelworks is one of the areas with the highest concentration of retirement mutual aid subscribing workplaces in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions. Currently, 232 sites ordered by POSCO (including 6 sites subject to mandatory electronic card system) are under construction.
The campaign took place during the morning commute hours from 7 to 8 a.m. at the intersection near Gate 1 of the steelworks, where the Mutual Aid Association, Employment Support Center, Jeonnam Eastern and Gyeongnam Western branches of the National Plant Construction Union, POSCO Construction Co., POSCO Plantec Co., POSCO ICT Co., and Hana Bank participated to promote key projects of the Construction Workers’ Mutual Aid Association, including the retirement mutual aid system (with electronic card system).
The Gwangju Branch plans to distribute promotional banners about the electronic card system to 100 workplaces subject to mandatory electronic card system within its jurisdiction and have them displayed on-site along with this campaign.
