Gyeonggi-do Supports 'Export Market Development for Local SMEs' in the Province
41 Export Companies Hold Video Consultations with Buyers from 15 Countries
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province announced on the 18th that it will hold the first online video consultation of the year on the 19th at COEX for companies participating in the "2022 Gyeonggi Export Companies Online Exhibition Support Project," supporting export market development for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the province.
This consultation will be conducted in a non-face-to-face manner due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, with 41 export SMEs from the province expected to participate.
The participating companies will use online video consultation equipment installed at their respective business sites or at COEX to introduce their excellent products to 30 buyers from 15 countries including ASEAN, North America, Central and South America, and Europe, and conduct one-on-one export consultations.
In particular, interpreters and trade experts will be stationed on-site to facilitate smooth export negotiations and contract processes for the companies.
The main focus is to operate various support programs such as building and hosting online exhibition halls, producing product promotional materials, and discovering buyers, including the online video consultation. Starting with this consultation, the province plans to hold a total of four consultations this year.
