By 9 PM, 30,631 Confirmed Cases Nationwide... About 3,000 Fewer Than Yesterday
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] As of 9 PM on the 17th, the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases nationwide was in the low 30,000s.
According to Seoul Metropolitan Government and other local governments, from midnight to 9 PM on the same day, a total of 30,631 people across 17 cities and provinces nationwide were confirmed positive for COVID-19. This is a decrease of 3,317 cases compared to the same time the previous day.
Compared to one week ago on the 10th (42,451 cases), the number is 11,820 fewer, and compared to two weeks ago on the 3rd (47,732 cases), it is 17,101 fewer.
Confirmed cases were 13,768 (44.9%) in the metropolitan area and 16,863 (55.1%) in non-metropolitan areas.
