Digital content showcasing Korean cultural heritage from the National Museum of Korea will be displayed every Saturday from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM on the media facade at the Iconic Zone on the 10th floor of Shinsegae Duty Free's main store.
Seven videos will be screened, including "Time of Colors, Shining," a media art reinterpretation of the unique colors and materials of museum collections such as the Bangasayusang (Seated Buddha) and Najeonchilgi (mother-of-pearl lacquerware) boxes; "The King's Procession, Together with the People," depicting King Jeongjo's Hwaseong Haengcha (royal procession) from Changdeokgung Palace to Hwaseong's fireworks; and "Climbing Geumgangsan," featuring realistic landscapes of Geumgangsan from the late Joseon period.
To celebrate the 6th anniversary of the main store on the 18th, Shinsegae Duty Free has also prepared a prize event. From the 18th to the 31st, an event featuring prizes that embody the beauty and elegance of traditional Korean culture will be held on the Shinsegae Duty Free online mall. Participants will be entered into a draw to win the National Museum of Korea’s representative artifact, the "Bangasayusang No. 83 Miniature," and a golf ball marker set linked to the "Late Lee Kun-hee Donation Exhibition." All entrants will receive Sommoney, which can be used on the online mall.
An offline event for customers visiting the main store will also be held. From the 18th to June 30th, every Saturday, customers who upload the National Museum of Korea media facade videos from the Iconic Zone on the 10th floor of the main store to Instagram will receive a special gift. Customers who post their own content on their personal Instagram account and show it at the customer center will be given a "Najeonhap Smart Tok," allowing them to appreciate the beauty of Goryeo dynasty mother-of-pearl lacquerware, limited to the first 60 people each week.
