According to the Busan Saha Police Station and Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters on the 15th, around 3 a.m., an SUV traveling toward Myeongji at the entrance of Eulsukdo Bridge in Sinpyeong-dong, Saha-gu, Busan, struck the bridge entrance structure.
The impact caused the vehicle to overturn and catch fire. At the time, three people in their 20s who were acquaintances were in the vehicle; the male passenger in the front seat, Mr. A, died.
The driver, Ms. B, and the female passenger in the back seat, Ms. C, escaped the vehicle with injuries and were transported to the hospital. The vehicle was completely burned.
Police investigation revealed that Ms. B’s blood alcohol concentration was above the license cancellation level (0.08%), and she was arrested on the spot. It is known that Ms. B and her group had been drinking together before the accident.
