[Featured Stock] NCSoft Soars 11% on Record-Breaking Earnings
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] NCSoft's stock price is soaring. It is showing a strong trend as buying demand flows in following the record-breaking quarterly earnings.
At 10:03 AM on the 13th, NCSoft was trading at 444,000 KRW, up 11.54%.
NCSoft announced that its consolidated sales for the first quarter of this year were tentatively estimated at 790.3 billion KRW, a 54.22% increase compared to the same period last year. This is the highest quarterly sales ever recorded. Operating profit rose 330.41% to 244.2 billion KRW, and net profit increased 109.95% to 168.3 billion KRW.
Sales by region were 503.4 billion KRW in Korea, 210.7 billion KRW in Asia, and 37.4 billion KRW in North America and Europe. Royalty sales amounted to 38.8 billion KRW. Overseas and royalty sales account for 36% of total sales, a 200% increase compared to the same period last year.

Mobile games recorded sales of 640.7 billion KRW, a 97% increase compared to the same period last year. By product, Lineage W generated 373.2 billion KRW, Lineage M 115.9 billion KRW, Lineage 2M 127.4 billion KRW, and Blade & Soul 2 24.2 billion KRW.
