BMT to Participate in International Electric Power Exhibition... "Showcasing Top-Tier Distribution Panels"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] BMT announced on the 12th that it will participate in the '2022 International Electric Power Exhibition' held at COEX, Seoul, for three days from the 18th to the 20th.
The International Electric Power Exhibition is the largest electric power industry exhibition in Korea, hosted annually by the Korea Electric Engineers Association. It provides information related to new energy industries such as electric power facilities, smart grids, power generation and nuclear plants, and LED lighting industries. Side events such as electric safety management technical training and wind power technology seminars, as well as international new energy industry and energy storage system (ESS) exhibitions, are also held together.
BMT mainly introduces the Metal Closed Switchgear (MCSG). MCSG is an air-insulated highest protection grade switchgear with compartments formed by metal partitions. BMT's MCSG has been verified for durability and safety through arc resistance and type test certification according to IEC62271-200 standards from the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI).
The company explained that it overcomes the limitations of busbar structures and improves insulation grades to maximize the preventive effect against safety accidents. The installation area and width have been reduced by up to 57% and 20%, respectively, compared to conventional switchgear.
A BMT official said, "We are continuously investing to strengthen existing product lines and develop new products," and added, "We will actively communicate face-to-face with customers through the exhibition and introduce various products and solutions."
