Korea MS Launches 'Power Platform' Business App Service at Domestic Data Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Microsoft Korea announced on the 11th that it has launched domestic data center services for its complete business solution, 'Business Applications (Apps)'.
At a press conference held on the same day, Microsoft Korea stated, "With the domestic data center service, cloud-based business apps such as Dynamics 365 and Power Platform can now be used in a stable environment."
Accordingly, domestic companies can store core data in Korean data centers and receive fast and stable services at the same level as global standards. Additionally, security capabilities such as security management systems and regulatory compliance will be further strengthened.
Microsoft Korea's business apps provide a complete solution offering Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). In particular, it has the advantage of quickly applying business requirements existing in each department such as ▲marketing ▲sales ▲service ▲finance ▲supply chain management. It also enables organic integration with Microsoft's cloud service Azure and collaboration/productivity solution Microsoft 365.
Companies can acquire high-level business processes from global firms while combining data tailored to domestic circumstances, allowing them to easily and quickly plan optimized digital transformation scenarios for each company.
Microsoft Korea can also improve work efficiency and performance through organic integration with various services. For example, cloud service Azure and collaboration/productivity solution Microsoft 365 collect and monitor data used in work. Then, AI/machine learning (ML) functions embedded in each solution recognize problem situations and provide actions and feedback based on predictions.
On this day, global corporate customer cases that succeeded in digital transformation were also introduced. G&J Pepsi implemented Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics 365 Field Service, and Power Platform to maximize customer service, revenue, and cost reduction. This resulted in visible outcomes such as an 8% increase in sales and a 6.6% reduction in operating costs.
Siemens Mobility adopted both Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 to maintain smooth collaboration during the pandemic. In particular, by linking Microsoft Teams and customer relationship management (CRM) data, they accelerated collaboration without physical space constraints, thereby improving work productivity and customer satisfaction.
