Disney+ to Release 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' on the 8th of Next Month

The online video service (OTT) Disney+ announced on the 11th that it will release the original series "Obi-Wan Kenobi" starting from the 8th of next month. The series depicts the life-threatening journey of the legendary character Obi-Wan Kenobi from the "Star Wars" saga. It showcases his battle against ruthless Jedi hunters in a world filled with darkness and despair over six episodes. Ewan McGregor, who played Kenobi in "Star Wars" Episodes 1, 2, and 3, returns to star alongside Hayden Christensen and Joel Edgerton. The series is directed by Deborah Chow, known for "The High Cost of Living" (2010). It thrillingly portrays why Kenobi, who had been living in seclusion, reemerges into the world. Disney+ confidently stated that viewers will enjoy a rich visual experience with the "Star Wars" series' overwhelming action sequences, wondrous universe, and innovative visuals.
