[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seonsik] Yeosu City in Jeollanam-do announced that it is operating the ‘Kkumtturak Closet,’ which rents interview suits free of charge to reduce the economic burden on young job seekers.
Located on the 2nd floor of Yeosu Jungang Market’s Kkumtturak Mall, the ‘Kkumtturak Closet’ symbolizes support for young people to pursue their employment dreams.
It can be used free of charge up to three times a year, with each rental lasting one week. AI interview practice is also provided free of charge.
To use the service, applicants must apply online through the ‘Yeosu Youth Support Center website’ and then visit the Kkumtturak Closet to select clothes that fit their size.
However, when visiting the closet, applicants must submit ▲a certificate proving residence in Yeosu City or enrollment/graduation from a local university and ▲documents confirming the interview.
A young person who participated in the program said, “I was in a situation where buying a suit before the interview was burdensome, but fortunately, I was able to rent a perfectly fitting suit from the Kkumtturak Closet,” adding, “Thanks to this, I did well in the interview and even passed, so I am very grateful.”
A city official said, “We hope the Kkumtturak Closet will provide practical help to young people struggling with job hunting. We will enhance convenience by stocking various suits by season and size and continue to support the dreams of young people.”
