[Photo] Citizens Commuting Next to Jeonjangyeon Subway Protest
On the 10th, the day of President Yoon Suk-yeol's inauguration ceremony, members of the National Solidarity for the Elimination of Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (Jeonjangyeon) are protesting during the morning commute at Gwanghwamun Station on Seoul Subway Line 5. Commuters are experiencing inconvenience on their way to work. Since December last year, Jeonjangyeon has been demanding the government guarantee the budget for disability rights and enact or amend the four major disability rights laws (Disability Rights Guarantee Act, Disability Deinstitutionalization Support Act, Disability Lifelong Education Act, and Special Education Act). /Reporter Moon Ho-nam munonam@
