Netflix's 'Annarasumanara' Ranks 4th Globally
Popularity Rising Centered on Asia
The Netflix drama "Annarasumanara" is gaining popularity mainly in Asia. According to FlixPatrol, an online video service (OTT) ranking site, it ranked 4th in the global Netflix TV program category as of the 9th (Korean time). This is a rise of three places from 7th on the day after its release, the 7th. It was the most watched in thirteen countries including the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Jordan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Maldives, Oman, and Pakistan. It ranked 2nd in Japan, Bahrain, Egypt, India, Morocco, and Thailand, and 3rd in Nigeria, Singapore, and Vietnam. In Korea, it only reached 7th place. It failed to enter the top 10 in major countries in North America and Europe. FlixPatrol compiles rankings by scoring countries based on the top 10 rankings provided by Netflix. "Annarasumanara" tells the story of a magician, Rieul (Ji Chang-wook), who appears before Yoon Ai (Choi Sung-eun), a girl who has lost her dreams, and Na Il-deung (Hwang In-yeop), a boy pressured to have dreams.
