KOTRA Holds Employment Seminar for Chinese Students Studying in Korea
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on the 8th that it held the '2022 Hangzhou Youth Employment Mentoring Seminar' to assist Korean students studying in China with local employment.
This seminar was organized to enhance understanding of preparing for employment in China by inviting employment consultants to share local employment trends and know-how for strengthening job competencies.
The seminar also featured participation from Alibaba.com, a global e-commerce company, which introduced its main business and desired talent profiles and shared interview tips. Mentoring sessions with seniors who graduated from local universities and found employment were also conducted.

Song Ik-jun, head of KOTRA Hangzhou Trade Center, said, "Compared to students attending universities in Korea, international students have fewer opportunities to participate in employment special lectures, making it difficult to set a direction when preparing for employment," adding, "We will strive to broaden the doors for international students to find employment in China."
