Uridamunhwa Scholarship Foundation Provides 830 Million KRW to 600 Youths
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Woori Financial Group's Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation announced on the 4th that it will provide 830 million KRW to 600 children of multicultural and COVID-19-affected small business owners.
This scholarship program was established to support academic advancement and talent development. It will select 500 multicultural children from elementary, middle, high school, and university levels to receive multicultural children scholarships. The scholarships are divided into academic scholarships for academic improvement and talent scholarships for those with language, technical skills, or awards. Additionally, 100 children of small business owners who closed their businesses due to COVID-19 will receive a special scholarship of 500,000 KRW.
