View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 announced on the 4th that it will jointly hold a special online event with Google for Korean companies on the 10th.
This event is part of Google's Think Commerce program, which unveils innovative e-commerce technologies. It is designed to provide useful information and insights to local companies together with key partners, and this year it will be held in Korea with Cafe24.
Speakers at the event include Motoyoshi Hokama, Head of Cafe24 Global Business Team, and Heo Gi-o, Lead of Google Channel Partner Team, among other experts from both companies. They will explain the structure of utilizing Google's machine learning-based marketing features on Cafe24-based online shopping malls and discuss global e-commerce trends.
Last year, Cafe24 introduced the Google Channel service based on Google Shopping through platform integration with Google, enabling products to be exposed on YouTube, Google Search, and Google Display Network with just a few clicks. Key information such as photos, detailed descriptions, and product codes of online shopping malls is automatically customized for Google. Therefore, even without specialized development knowledge, it has become easier to utilize Google's advertising functions necessary for operating online shopping malls, achieving marketing results not only domestically but also in desired countries.
Kim Kyung-hoon, President of Google Korea, said, "Google planned the collaboration with Cafe24 and the Think Commerce special event to provide consumer insights and digital marketing strategies," adding, "Through cooperation with Cafe24, Google will play a stepping stone role to help Korean companies with competitive products grow worldwide."
