Business Agreement Signed with Hanwha Hotels & Resorts on the 3rd

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] LG Electronics is accelerating the digital transformation of hotel services by leveraging customized robot solutions optimized for various spaces.
On the 3rd, LG Electronics announced that it signed a business agreement for technology exchange to advance digital transformation in the hotel service sector and to apply LG Electronics' robot solutions, at the Hanwha Life Building in Yeouido, Seoul, with Kim Hyung-jo, CEO of Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, Jang Ik-hwan, head of LG Electronics' BS Business Division, and others in attendance.
LG Electronics plans to supply LG CLOi robots to Hanwha Resort Dongbusan Branch, followed by hotels and resort branches located in Haeundae, Yongin, and Jeju.
Previously, LG Electronics introduced CLOi robot solutions optimized for hotels, including various concierge services such as hotel guidance, providing information on nearby tourist attractions and shopping, multilingual interpretation, and contactless delivery services, by supplying LG CLOi ServeBot and GuideBot respectively to Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano in Sokcho, Gangwon-do.
Through collaboration with Hanwha Hotels & Resorts, which operates businesses in various fields such as hotels, resorts, leisure, and F&B (food and beverage), LG Electronics expects not only to provide customers with new experiences and value but also to effectively promote LG's advanced robot solutions.
Since starting the operation of the LG CLOi GuideBot at Incheon Airport in 2017, LG Electronics has continuously introduced various models including two types of ServeBots, ChefBot, and BaristaBot, and recently launched the LG CLOi UV-C Bot optimized for contactless disinfection, thus establishing a lineup of six types of LG CLOi robots optimized for diverse spaces.
