On the 28th, Silla University and Air Premia signed a business agreement at Air Premia's headquarters in Seoul. The signing ceremony was attended by key figures from both sides, including Kim Jaewon, Dean of the College of Aviation at Silla University, and Yoo Myungseop, CEO of Air Premia.
Through this agreement, the two institutions will cooperate on ▲academic exchange and research support ▲collaboration on educational programs and field training ▲support for aviation professionals ▲recruitment of outstanding students.
In 2021, Silla University established the College of Aviation, the only one in the Southeast region, consisting of five core departments related to aviation: flight operation, maintenance, service, logistics, and transportation management, equipped with infrastructure of a scale capable of generating synergy effects.
With the recovery in aviation demand, Silla University plans to lay the groundwork for swiftly supplying aviation professionals, starting with the agreement with Air Premia, which is seeking competitiveness through expansion into medium- and long-haul routes.
Kim Jaewon, Dean of the College of Aviation at Silla University, said, “Silla University will strengthen industry-academia cooperation and actively support students so that they can fully demonstrate their capabilities at leading domestic and international airlines.”
