Ballan, Golf Specialty Store April Transaction Amount... 717% Increase Compared to Previous Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Balan announced on the 2nd that the transaction amount in the golf specialty section grew by 717% in April compared to the previous month.
According to Balan's April data, the number of purchases increased by 522% and the transaction amount increased eightfold compared to the previous month. By week, the number of purchases in the 4th week reached 18,000, tripling compared to the 1st week, and the transaction amount increased by 214%, setting a new weekly record. Notably, 62% of golf specialty section users are in their 30s and 40s, a high-income and high-consumption customer group that aligns with Balan's core customers, leading to high service linkage and cross-purchases that drove transaction growth.
The speed of golf brand entries is also accelerating. The number of brands doubled in just one month, and golf products increased by 65%, totaling 203 brands and about 33,000 products. Balan plans to collaborate with premium golf brands and develop its own private brand (PB) products in the future, reflecting customer needs.
