Mico BioMed Signs Joint Venture Memorandum of Understanding with Senegal Pasteur Institute
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Mikobiomed announced on the 2nd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint venture with the Institut Pasteur de Dakar in Senegal for the joint development, local production, and sales of diagnostic products for endemic diseases in Africa.
The Institut Pasteur de Dakar serves as a control tower for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of infectious diseases, including COVID-19, in the West African region. It is also supported by the French government, the European Investment Bank, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, among others.
Senegal is a major export country for Mikobiomed, and since the outbreak of COVID-19, the company has maintained a friendly cooperative relationship with the Institut Pasteur de Dakar.
