[Photo] Yangcheon-gu Provides Conflict of Interest Prevention Act Training to All Employees
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) conducted a training session on the "Public Officials Conflict of Interest Prevention Act" on the 29th at 3 PM at the Yangcheon Digital Media Center for all employees to promote fair job performance and foster a sound public service culture.
The training, which was also live-streamed on YouTube to ensure all employees could participate, featured Han Se-geun, a task force officer from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission's Conflict of Interest Prevention Act Implementation Preparation TF, as the instructor.
The lecture covered the background and significance of the enactment of the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, key provisions, sanctions for violations, and focused on case-based education regarding the ten major conduct standards specified by the law, reporting violations, and protection and compensation for whistleblowers.
