Gwangju University, Gwangju Women's University, and Honam University Join Hands for University Innovation Exchange and Cooperation

On the 29th, Gwangju University announced that it held a business agreement signing ceremony at the School Administration Building's Education Innovation Support Office, attended by Kim Hwang-yong, head of Gwangju University's University Innovation Support Project Group, Jeong Seong-il, head of Gwangju Women's University's University Innovation Support Project Group, and Song Chang-su, head of Honam University's University Innovation Project Group.
Through this business agreement, each university agreed to collaborate on joint research and cooperation for university education innovation, joint research and linked operation of curricular and extracurricular programs, development and operation of regional win-win programs, and exchange of various information related to university innovation.
Kim Hwang-yong, head of Gwangju University's University Innovation Support Project Group, emphasized, "Amid the crisis faced by regional universities, I hope that instead of competition, each university shares its strengths and seeks development plans to cooperate."
Following this, Jeong Seong-il, head of Gwangju Women's University's University Innovation Support Project Group, stated, "This agreement is a step to respond to the crisis faced by regional universities due to the decline in the school-age population through educational innovation," and added, "We will pool our capabilities and actively cooperate."
